15.4 SPECIAL ISSUES IN SEXUAL ASSAULTS
As noted above, in sexual assault cases certain information must be redacted by law. However, there is a "public viewing" copy of the file that includes all documents filed with the Court. The information that is redacted from the file is usually the alleged victim's name or other identifying information. Because of the number of sexual assault cases, updating the public copy may not be current because of insufficient staff resources.
