Please join us for the monthly Side Bar Virtual CLE. Our September presentation, The Color of Policing: How Criminal Procedural Law Enshrines Bias, presented by Aya Gruber, Professor of Law at University of Colorado.

Professor Gruber will talk discuss major legal doctrines and cases that allow, even encourage, police to use their discretion in ways that negatively impact people and communities of color.  She will also discuss the “What about” questions that arise when lawmakers and activists advocate for defunding, disarming, and radically reforming the police.

Our monthly Side Bar CLE presentations will be presented virtually via Zoom meeting rooms through the end of the 2020. Attendees will receive the log-in information the day prior to the presentation.
