Mediators and Arbitrators

There are a variety of problem-solving processes referrred to as Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) which provide an alternative to a judge resolving your disputes at a formal trial.

ADR can offer cost-effective, fast, and appropriate choices for your individual situation. These methods are less formal than Court hearings and allow you to have greater influence on the outcome of your dispute. In Boulder County, parties are required to participate in ADR prior to most contested Court hearings. Alternative Dispute Resolution options include negotiation, mediation, arbitration, mediation-arbitration, and settlement conferences.

By clicking on the link applicable to your case below, you can find more information about these different ADR options as well as access a list of providers for your consideration. The ADR providers on this list are not endorsed by either the Boulder County Bar Association or the 20th Judicial District. Further, neither of these agencies has validated any of the information for accuracy or screened any of the ADR providers for competence. This material is supplied by the providers themselves and has not been verified. The information in this list is subject to change.
