Please join us for a live CLE webinar on the Family Law topic A Primer on Disability Advocacy, presented by Franklin Erickson, Executive Director at The Initiative. This presentation offers 1 EDI credit.

Franklin will be facilitating this webinar as a primer on disability advocacy and how perceived vulnerabilities exacerbate abuse. The Initiative's mission is to empower victims of abuse and create a bridge to close the gap for people with disabilities through discovery of self-resiliency by providing support and services. Their vision is to support self-sufficiency and abuse-free lives by creating and providing meaningful and sustainable pathways for those who come to us as victims but leave as survivors. The hope is that, through outreach efforts and offering training, The Initiative can further support community led solutions and help inform folks about the intersections of all forms of disability and abuse.

This lunchtime program will be held from 12:00 – 1:00 pm via Zoom webinar. The Zoom link will be sent out to all registrants.
