The presenters will discuss the tasks that should be completed as part of a diligence investigation of water rights included as part of a real estate transaction. The presentation will cover tasks to be competed when the transaction includes shares in a mutual irrigation company, water storage rights and facilities, wells, groundwater water rights and nontributary or deep aquifer water. The presentation will also include a discussion of ditch easements and water delivery systems both on and off site that may be important in a transaction.
