Planning for incapacity or death is not just important for our clients, it is also important for attorneys and critical for solo and small firm practices. What happens if an attorney is unable to work temporarily or long-term? What happens if an attorney suddenly dies? This presentation will discuss some of the outcomes if a solo or small firm attorney has not planned for sudden incapacity or death. We will also discuss the process for creating a succession plan. There will be significant discussion around options for solo and small firm practices.
