Please join us for a CLE webinar Short-Term Solutions and Long-Term Prospects on the Colorado River, presented by Gregor Macgregor.
Arizona, California, and Nevada have reached a deal to reduce water consumption from the Colorado River through 2026 amid our historic drought. State-led cuts will be aided by $1.2 billion dollars in federal payments to compensate users for reductions over the next three years. However, a long-term solution remains elusive. This program will examine the lead-up to the current agreement, the potential extent and willingness of the federal government to force its own solutions, and the upcoming negotiations to replace the 2007 Interim Guidelines for managing the river's allocation.
This lunchtime program will be held from 12:00 – 1:00 pm via Zoom webinar. The Zoom link will be sent out to all registrants.
