Please join us for a live CLE webinar on a 2023 elections topic: The Future of Colorado Property Taxes – Unraveling Proposition HH, presented by Carolyn Steffl.

The November 7, 2023 state-wide ballot will include Proposition HH, a sweeping property tax measure referred to voters by the Colorado General Assembly. This CLE talk will outline the major proposed changes and discuss how passage of Proposition HH would impact: school district funding, water and fire protection districts, cities and counties, and the state budget. Carolyn will also discuss the impact on residents and property owners, in terms of tax rates and TABOR refunds, unpacking opposition arguments that the measure is a tax increase disguised as a tax cut. Finally, Carolyn will discuss the Colorado Supreme Court decision that Proposition HH can be added to the ballot and go to the voters. All voters are encouraged to research Proposition HH to understand this important ballot issue.
