This is [Not] Who We Are Screening & Discussion Panel

The BCBA presents a screening and panel discussion of “This is [Not] Who We Are,” sponsored by Hutchinson Black and Cook, LLC.

The documentary film by Boulder-based filmmakers Beret Strong, Katrina Miller, and John Tweedy, explores the gaps between Boulder’s progressive identity and the lived experiences of its Black community, and traces how race and exclusion have affected the City of Boulder and its institutions from the 1860s. 

This discussion is a poignant opportunity for our legal community to reflect on and raise awareness of the racial disparities present in our justice system and how we as advocates are challenged to further the cause of racial justice in tandem with our client advocacy.  For more information, see www.thisisnotwhowearefilm.com.
