Disabilities in the Courtroom: This lunch-hour CLE (one EDI credit requested) will begin with an overview of disability rights presented by BCBA member Andrew Montoya, followed by a panel discussion moderated by BCBA Civil Litigation Section Chair Matt Simonsen. The panel discussion will focus on the experiences of legal practitioners in the disability community, as well as ways the practice of law can become more inclusive of and accessible to disabled people. Panelists will include Magistrate Jamin Alabiso (1st JD) and Colorado attorneys River Sedaka, Dr. Ellen Blatt, and Andrew Montoya.
